West Virginia Drug Intervention Institute (WV DII) hosted a live panel discussion on Friday, May 21, 2021, to bring attention to the importance of medication safety and disposal.
Dr. Susan Bissett, WV DII president, invited William Simpson, president and chief executive officer of DisposeRx, to participate in the conversation. Also on the panel were two former drug policy experts—Jim Carroll, former director of the White House Office of National Drug Policy (ONDCP) and Uttam Dhillon, former acting administrator for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
