ree

CHARLESTON W.Va. (WVDN) — Today marks International Overdose Awareness Day. Founded in 2001, this day brings a global community together to take action on overdose. WVSL Solutions, a West Virginia 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization active throughout the state with offices in Charleston and Morgantown, is taking active steps to prevent overdose in the state with the distribution of ONEbox kits throughout the greater Charleston area.

The ONEbox is an emergency opioid overdose reversal kit designed to promote safety by assuring that individuals have life-saving, on-demand training when and where they need it. The ONEbox is managed by the West Virginia Drug Intervention Institute, Inc., based in Charleston, West Virginia. By combining immediate naloxone access, easy-to understand video instructions, and hands-on training, ONEbox® ensures that everyone is equipped to respond effectively in an overdose situation.
