There are plenty of locations in the Kanawha Valley where people may drop off unused prescription drugs Saturday during the biannual National Drug Take Back Day , organized by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

What is Drug Take Back Day?

National Drug Take Back Day offers a free, safe and anonymous way to get rid of prescription drugs that are susceptible to diversion and abuse.

Drop off times at all locations are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More than 80 collection sites throughout southern West Virginia and elsewhere in the state are taking part. A collection site locator and other information is available at DEATakeBack.com.
