Fighting for A Cause | Dr. Susan Margaret Murphy

WVDII

As Dr. Susan Margaret Murphy, the President of West Virginia Drug Intervention Institute, reflects on her journey, one thing has always remained constant: her desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. For years, she harbored a dream of becoming a college president, a path that led her through various roles in higher education spanning over two decades. From serving as a dean of students to vice president of student affairs and professor, each experience shaped her understanding of leadership and community engagement.

Dr. Susan’s tenure as assistant dean at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy is a period of profound growth and fulfillment.
