Dr. Susan Murphy Honored with Innovation Award for Life-Saving Work in Opioid Crisis

We’re proud to share that Dr. Susan Margaret Murphy, President of the Drug Intervention Institute, was honored with the Innovation Award at this year’s WV Hope in Action Alliance Awards.

Dr. Murphy’s leadership has been instrumental in the development and distribution of the ONEbox and other life-saving programs aimed at reducing opioid-related deaths across the country. She dedicated the award to Joe Murphy, whom she originally nominated for the honor.

With over 25 years of experience and a deep commitment to education, harm reduction, and public health, Dr. Murphy continues to be a driving force in the fight to save lives.
