On Thursday, August 10, 2023, ONEbox units will be delivered to the Cabell County Library as part of the Drug Intervention Institute’s outreach to provide ONEboxes, naloxone, and training to all WV public libraries.
The City of Huntington Mayor Steve Williams will present a proclamation to ONEbox inventor and creator (and Huntington native), Joe Murphy for his work in combatting the overdose crisis in his hometown and throughout the country.
The Institute has received reports of over 100 overdose reversals throughout the country with the use of the ONEbox including 25 in the Huntington area alone.
